Quote from the Catechism of the Catholic Church

25
"To conclude this Prologue, it is fitting to recall this pastoral principle stated by the Roman Catechism:

The whole concern of doctrine and its teaching must be directed to the love that never ends

Whether something is proposed for belief, for hope or for action, the love of our Lord must always be made accessible, so that anyone can see that all the works of perfect Christian virtue spring from love and have no other objective than to arrive at love"

Prayer - Lord Jesus, please help us the understanding who you are and what you require of me.  Reveal to me your will for my life - Amen.

Please read the conclusion to the prologue of the Catechism of the Catholic Church on the left of this page.  Isn't it interesting that the whole purpose of church teachings is to lead us to love - Agape: unconditional love.

1 John 4:16 "We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him."
